RAIDS ON BRITAIN
INDUSTRIAL 'AREAS BOMBED [U.P.A.—By Electric Telegraph- Cory-right] j (Received 21st June. 11.40 a.m.) • ; LONDON,. 20th June. - It is authoritatively stated that over 400 bombers participated in last night’s, raicj on Britain and dropped more i bombs than the previous night. The Germans changed their line of j attack, bombing industrial areas. Certain industrial factory buildings were damaged but considering the number of bombs dropped the damage was slight, j The R.A.F. attacks on German-* occupied aerodromes in France were particularly successful. A strong force of bombers attacked ; an aerodrome near Amiens, setting fire ; to one hangar and a large plane, A‘ heavy attack followed in.which twelve, grounded planes were destroyed and i. many others damaged. Two of the! remaining hangars were also hit.
