MILLION MEN LOST

FRENCH CONSUL’S ESTIMATE SYDNEY. 20th June. In a statement in which he discussed Australian generosity and understanding for France, the French ConsulGeneral, M. Tremoulet, declared that France had lost a mililon men, but she was still lighting valiantly in spite of her exhaustion.

More than £2OOO was raised at a concert in Sydney last flight for the French Red Cross.
