ORDER TO LEAVE NEW ZEALAND [United Press Association) AUCKLAND, 27th May. A fine of £3O and an order to leave New Zealand forthwith were imposed on Raymond Dennison, aged 24. when he pleaded guilty in the Magistrates’ Court to five summonses on charges of sending circulars to persons with intent to induce them to apply to “R. Burke" with a view to obtaining advice for the purpose of wagering on horse races. The police produced one of the circulare sent out by Dennison, who arrived from Australia toward the end of February. “On his own admission he sent out 1000 circulars each week.” said Detective-Sergeant McHugh . ‘Though he doesn’t know the horses, he says he was going to study form and would tip good things to ‘the mugs’ who would send him £l. He says he got 20 replies a week. The magistrate Mr Orr Walker: In the circular he says he would refund th*» £1 sent him if the horses ran unplaced. Mr McHugh: But he admitted to De-tective-Sergeant Alpin that he had not refunded any money.
