LOYAL HOWARD LODGE

THE FORTNIGHTLY MEETING At the fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Howard Lodge M.U. 1.0.0. F. M.N.G. Bro. Twort was in the chair. Other sitting officers attending were W.V.G. Bro. Rozenberg. Elect Secretary Bro. Moorhouse and I.P.N.G. Bro. Edwards supported by sisters and brethren of the minor offices The sum of £24 6s was passed for payment to sick members. The District Secretary P.D.G.M. Bro. F. Cooke and the lodge delegate to the annual district conference P.D.G.M. Bro. C. Revnish reported on the business dealt with at conference. Bro. Simpson was missed from his position of Guardian which he has filled for a number of years. The members wished him a speedy recovery from his sickness. The M.N.G. promised to visit the brother the next day. Bro. Kirkham from the Britannia | Lodge, Wellington District, was accorded a welcome and invited to join with members in a game of indoor bowls after lodge closed. Another lodge represented was Loyal Nelson. About half an hour was passed in explaining the procedure of meetings and lodegritual. The social committee supplied supper and then members and visiting members enjoyed games of indoor bowls.
