BOY FOUND DROWNED
[United Press Association] WHANGAREI, This Day. Straying from his small companions who were playing on the Purerua beach, Kerikeri Inlet, a two-year-old boy was later found drowned. The discovery was made yesterday afternoon by the boy s father, Mr Stan Hansen after the other children returning home said they did not know the whereabouts of the youngest, Lloyd. Mr Hansen hurried to the beach and found the body in less than two feet of water.
