TURKISH ’QUAKE
OFFICIAL FIGURES OF CASUALTIES Official figures giving the casualties in the recent earthquake and flooding disasters in Turkey have now been made available, stated a Daventry broadcast last night. It is announced that 25,000 were killed, 80,000 were injured and 30,000 homes were destroyed.—By radio.
