A stock sale held at Takaka by the N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Co., and Dalgety Ltd., yesterday, sav a good yarding of sheep, but buyers showed a reluctance to stock up owing to shortage of feed caused by the very dry weather. The quality of the stock offered was mediocre except for one or two lines.
