THE BRITISH POM-POM GUN is an eight-barrel gun, called a "Chicago piano," and fires 480 two-inch shells a minute at low-flying planes. New battleships are now equipped with four of these as well as 16 regular 5.25-inch anti-aircraft guns for high planes.
