AUSTRALIANS APPOINTED i [U.P.A.— By Electric Telegraph-Copyright} MELBOURNE, 9th January. The Prime Minister to-day announced the names of three Australian journalists permitted to accompany Australian troops overseas as correspondents, namely John Hetherington, to represent the evening Press, Reginald Glennie and Guy Edward Harriott, to represent the morning Press. Mr Menzies added that the Government was now considering the appointment of an official correspondent whose dispatches would be available to the Australian Press as a whole.
