GORDON HALL
SUCCESSFUL OPENING FUNCTION A most successful dance and social marked the opening of the Gordon Hall which took place last month. There was a large attendance and a very pleasant evening was spent, the dances being interspersed with many and varied items. The committee is very grateful to those who helped to make the function a success by contributing to the entertainment, some of them coming a considerable distance. Items were given by Mr and Miss Papps, Mr J. Houston, Miss N. Homan, Mr and Mrs Simpson, Mr and Mrs McLaren, Miss Beth Wilkinson and Master Shea. Music for dancing was supplied by Mr Reg Best and Miss Best, while Mr Allan Wells was a most efficient M.C. After supper the raffle for a Christmas hamper was drawn, the winner being Miss E. Hollis, Belgrove. v
