STIMULATING RECRUITING
[United Press Association] HAWERA, This Day. At a public meeting called by the Mayor at the request of the Government to stimulate recruiting it was resolved that the Minister of Defence be requested to define reserved occupations. Also that men classified as unfit should replace fit men in essential occupations who volunteer for service. That a local board similar to the council for primary production be set up in each centre to assist recruiting.
