[United Press Association] MASTERTON, Bth January. The effect of a bad winter and a poor spring were mentioned at a meeting ol the directors of the Masterton Co-opera-tive Dairy Company when it was stated that the production for the season so far was down considerably. Unless further rains fall in adequate amounts throughout the season, a fall for the production for the year is expected. Local sales were stated to be particularly satisfactory, the value reaching £668 14s lid, the highest figures yet recorded. The month’s payout was fixed at Is 2d.
