FLYING TO NEW ZEALAND
LORD WILLINGDON’S VISIT [British Official Wireless] (Received sth January, 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, 4th January. Lord Willingdon, former Viceroy of India and later Governor-General of Canada, left England to-day to fly to New Zealand, where he will represent the King at the Centennial celebrations. Lord Willingdon will fly from Australia across the Tasman Sea in a flyingboat which is one of those intended for the regular Tasman Sea service.
