MYSTERY SOLVED
DEPTH FINDING INSTRUMENTS fU.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyrtgbtj SYDNEY, 4th January. The mystery associated with the German depth-finding explosives found on the south coast has been solved. The Customs Department explains that a large number of depth-finding bombs, which had been in bond for many years, apparently having been taken from a foreign ship, had been dumped 20 miles out at sea, but apparently the tide had carried some ashore.
