The ‘Save the Children” fund has appealed for funds to afford relief to the children of victims of the Anatolian earthquake and floods. The appeal follows several other manifestations of deep sympathy which the reports of distress have aroused here including the contribution of £25.000 from the British Government and the offer of the services of a hospital ship RED CROSS SOCIETY’S OFFER [British Official Wireless) (Received sth January. 9.30 a.m.) RUGBY. 4th January. The Britisn Red Cross Society has oflercd £IOOO to the Turkish Red Crescent organisation in cash or medical supplies for the relief of distress caused by the floods and earthquake.
