GREAT JEWEL RUNS TO FORM SELWYN HANDICAP TO FINE ART CHRISTCHURCH, 2nd Jonuary. The Canterbury Park Trotting Club's second day was held in fine weather after rain early in the morning. The track was in good order. The attendance was excellent. The totalisator handled £39,634 10s, compared with £41,383 10s. and the total for the meeting was £86,098, against £89.342 10s last year.
