CONVICTED OF INSURRECTION

SENTENCES AT BANGKOK [U.P.A.-By Electric Telegraph-Copyright] (Received 25th November. 9.0 a.m.) SINGAPORE. 24th November. A special court at Bangkok sentenced to death 21 persons convicted of insurrection by trying to overthrow the Government. Three of these 21 were reprieved and sentenced to life imprisonment. Seven were acquitted.
