Ethel Turner's Letter
(Original) Dear “Miss Bobbie,” I have been staying with the “Seven little Australians” at “The Camp at Wandinong,” after spending a few days with “The Family at Misrule.” We had a picnic under “The White Roof Tree,” after which we went on “The Stolen Voyage” on “The Raft in the Bush,” and got lost in “The Mist of the Mountains.” “Little Mother Meg” was very worried and sent “The Cub,” now “Captain Cub,” to find us. We were all right because we were with “An Ogre Up to Date,” who told us about “The Secret of the Sea.” and we went back to the camp like “Fugitives from Fortune.” The “Three Little Maids” were crying because it was dark, but “That Girl” told us “The Story of a Baby,” and “Betty and Co.” soon cheered up. “Mother’s Little Girl” was a bit frightened, too, but I did not let the others know. Your loving friend, “The Little Larrikin.” —Joyce Sigley (9 Years), Brightwater. (5 Points)
