SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP Y.M.C.A. V. WAIMEA GAME AT INTERESTING STAGE At the end of the first day’s play of the match at Park No. 1 Y.M.C.A. v. Waimea, the game is at an interesting stage. Y.M.C.A. won the toss and batted, the total reaching 174. Waimea were two down for 47 at stumps. O’Keefe played soundly before being bowled by Joyce for 33. V. Blincoe and Hurst were associated in a bright seventh wicket partnership, putting on 59 runs. Blincoe’s 34 included seven fours. Waimea fielded excellently.
