Here's News for - FARMERS - and the Home Gardener Buxtons have just landed direct from Messrs Hurst and Son and Carters Ltd., England, their new season’s stocks of Turnip, Swede, Mangel, Rape and Chou Moellier Seeds. So we would advise both farmers and home gardeners to purchase their requirements now, while we still have sufficient stocks. MANGELS Mangels contain a considerable amount of nutritious substances and every farmer realises their worth. This crop is sown in the proportion of four pounds to the acre. CHOU MOUELLER or Narrow Stemmed Kale This crop is particularly valuable for dairy cows, as it is unsurpassed as a milk producer —or to fatten the lambs. Sow broadcast 31b per acre or drilled 21b per acre.
