Dr. and Mrs C R. Barnicoat, Of Palmerston North, are spending a holiday with Mrs Barnicoat’s parents, Mr and Mrs C. E. Lowe, High street, Motueka.

The many friends of Mr A. L. Vickerman, of Poole street, Motueka. who is a patient in the Manuka Street Private Hospital. Nelson, will be pleased to learn that he is making satisfactory progress and hopes to return home at the end of this week, though it will be some time before he is able to attend to business matters. Mr and Mrs Norman Ross are the guests of Mr and Mrs N. J. Lewis. Whakarewa street, Motueka. Mr Ross is recuperating after a severe operation in Wellington, Mrs Manley Lowe, of Tasman, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs Shaw. Hamilton.
