TO-DAY’S SEDDON SHIELD MATCH

WEATHER CONDITIONS AT WESTPORT NELSON'S CHALLENGE AGAINST BULLER [Special to “The Mail”l WESTPORT, This Day. After rain yesterday, overnight the weather lifted in Westport. Late this morning the prospects were for reasonably good overhead conditions for the Seddon Shield match between Nelson and Buller. The ground at Victoria Square will be a little slippery for the game, but if there is no more rain, the teams should not be greatly hampered, and should be able to play their best football. The clearing wetather greatly heartened the Nelson team.

The public is expecting an even struggle. A large crowd of Nelsonians have made the trip through to see the match.
