WAKEFIELD CRIBBAGE CLUB

THIS WEEK’S RESULTS The final games in the third round of the Wakefield Cribbage tournament were played on Thursday night and resulted as follows: —Druids, 25 games; Citizens, 23; Oddfellows, 24; and Public Services, 24 draw). Mr R. Martin held a 24 hand and Messrs A. Wilke ns and W. Banks held 24 in crib. The points now stand as follows: Public Services, 12; Druids, 12; Oddfellows, 7; Citizens, 5. The play off for the winner will take place at the final function of the season on 31st August. The return match played against Brightwater, resulted in Wakefield being again defeated, the result being: Brightwater, 81 games; Wakefield, 47 games.
