j STOPPED BY BANK OF DANZIG DANZIG, 3rd July. The Bank of Danzig announced that it is stopping interest payments on the . amortisation services on all foreign * loans to the Free City. Gulden pay- , ment* to foreign countries will be placed in the blocked accounts, as in Germany, investors receiving certificates on the Danzig devisen banks for amounts due. Bondholders in the United States, England and Holland will be principally affected. One explanation given is that the port of Danzig no longer brings in the '■ necessary foreign currency.
