CYCLIST COLLIDES WITH CAR I United Press AmwtciHf inn AUCKLAND. 20th June. Extensive injuries from which he died shortly after being admitted to the Auckland Hospital, were received by Harry Wright, labourer, aged 30 years cf Grey Lynn, when the bicycle which he was riding on the Great South Road, at Penrose, at 5.40 p.m., came into collision with a motor car driven by Donald Edward Stacey, of Papatoetoe. Wright was riding towards the city and the motor car was going in the opposite direction. He was thrown heavily to the road, suffering severe injuries to the head and body.
