REPORT FROM HERMITAGE

FIRST FALL OF THE SEASON CHRISTCHURCH. 12th June. The first snow of the season has fallen at the Hermitage. Mount Cook. Ten inches fell at the Hermitage and 2ft. at the Ball HuJ. Although this first fall has come very late this year, it has been heavy enough to give good prospects for the rest of the winter season.
