INQUEST ON VICTIM (United Frees Association) PALMERSTON N., This Day. In an inquest into the death of Mrs Susanna Blanche Welmouth, aged 71, who died from injuries received when she was struck by a train at FeiJding, the Coroner returned a verdict of accidental death. The fireman on the train said that Mrs Weymouth approached the crossing looking towards the station, opposite to the direction of the train. The whistle sounded continuously and the brakes were applied. The woman was either deaf or preoccupied. Medical evidence showed that decciccd’s eyesight was impaired.
