SENSATION CAUSED
DANZIG'S SENATE DINNER ANTI-NAZI LEAFLETS ON MENUS (Received 13th June, 9.0 a.m.) LONDON, 12th June. The London "News Chronicles” Warsaw correspondent reports that a sensation was caused at the Danzig Senate's dinner in honour of General Lutze, head of the German stormtroopers, by the arrest of two high Senate officials at the General's table. The Nazi leaders in sitting down were shocked to discover leaflets denouncing the Nazi regime and Herr Hitler attached to the menus. General Lutze, who had intended to remain in Danzig for 24 hours, left immediately, highly annoyed. The President of the Danzig Senate. Herr Greiser, lias apologised to Berlin, where, it is reported, he has gone on a long holiday.
