Simpson and Sons a timber cutting permit over an area of 60 acres in Block V, Oparara Survey District subject to payment of royalties computed at State Forest rates, term one year from 1/6/1939. EXPENDITURE OF THIRDS, ETC. { The Waimea County Council sub- 1 mitted proposals for the expenditure of thirds amounting to £l9 6s Id accrued to 31/3/39. —Approved. The Takaka County Council submitted proposals for the expenditure of thirds amounting £6 10s accrued to 31/3/38.—Approved. The board also dealt with 21 items in committee.
