Fogarty was convicted of the murder on 10th February of Mrs Edna Dixon, 24, and her sister, Gwendoline Murray, 15, at their station homestead at Bendermeer, and Smith and Edwards, were convicted of the murder on 21st December of Edwards’s husband near Taree. Kelly was convicted of the ! murder on 6th February of Marjorie Somerlad on a farm near Tenterfield.
