BOMBS IN POST OFFICE

Six London pillar boxes were set on fire and bombs were found at the Post Office in Wimpole street. Police reserves were called out and the *Fire Brigade put emergency operations into force. A Post Office worker at Manchester was injured when a parcel exploded and a man was injured in a Wimpole street explosion where four unexploded bombs were found! A number of other pillar boxes were set on fire throughout London.
