For the second time in three day* ! trucks of the midnight south-bound goods train jumped the tracks in the early hours this morning, several trucks being badly damaged and the track torn up for a hundred yards just north of Fairton station, three miles north of Ashburton. Fortunately the trucks derailed were inside the loop, over which the South express was able reaching here at eleven o’clock. Local trains were also delayed.
