LAST OF THE JUDGING THIS MORNING’S RESULTS The fifth annual festival of the Nelson Competitions Society entered on it* final day to-day, and the concluding demonstration concert will be staged at the Theatre Royal to-night National dances and vocal solos were judged this morning, but the entrie* on the whole were not large. The judge regretted that the entrie* in the highland work were so few and considered that the standard was not very high.

“On the whole the costuming in both sections was good," said the judge. “The winner sang her song splendidly. She is the possessor of a bright, clear voice with an exceptionally good style.”
