SYMPATHETIC ATTITUDE ASSURED
TO GENUINE CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTORS (Received 12th May. 9 a.m.) LONDON, 11th May. It was announced at the spring assembly of the Congregational Union ot England and Wales that Mr Chamberlain had assured Free Church leaders that the Government would adopt a sympathetic attitude in the case of genuine conscientious objectors who refused any form of national service.
