MAITAI GOLF CLUB
WEEK-END COMPETITION The mixed foursomes which were postponed by the Maitai Golf Club from last week-end will now be played next ! Saturday at 1.15 p.m. Partners will be arranged on arrival at the clubhouse l by the match committee. A full atI tendance of all members is desired, i The women’s club will play a medal round on Saturday next at 1.15 p.m., with the object of getting as many cards in as possible to assist in handicaps. Partners will be arranged at the clubhouse.
The men’s club has arranged a fourball bogey match to be played on Sunday morning commencing at 9 a.m. and for which partners will be arranged on arrival. Members are requested to note the draw for the Powell Cup
which will be posted in the clubhouse, also the time of competition for the first round.
Members of both clubs are reminded Uyt entries for all club competitions close next Sunday afternoon. Any name not entered will not be drawn.
Since the beneficial rai- : of last week-end, the course generally has improved wonderfully, the greens especially showing up as the result of topdressing.
