DROWNED ON FISHING EXPEDITION
MAORI FALLS FROM LAUNCH (United Ppm Association! NEW PLYMOUTH. 9th May Lost overboard from a launch while fishing with two companions. Mr Raingi McLean, a 21-year-old Maori, was drowned about 12 miles off Pukearuhe. about 20 miles northward of New Plymouth, to-day. Mr McLean came from Tologa Bay and had been living in New Plymouth. Neither of his comp, nions saw what caused Mr McLean's fall from the launch.
