Moynihan, of Collingwood street is leaving shortly for Hawera, where she has an appointment at the High School. MAPUA VISIT OF MISS OGDEN It was a privilege for Mapua on Monday evening to have an address from Miss Ogden, senior Plunket nurse, on the subject of diet. Unfortunately the prevalent influenza, combined with the fact that a number of packing sheds in the neighbourhood are still busy in the evening, militated against a large attendance; but those who were able to be present were much interested in the talk on the relation of food to growth and health in child and adult. Miss Ogden’s address was on similar lines to that already reported from Motueka. At the close Miss Ogden very willingly and clearly replied to a barrage if questions from the audience, much of the information thus obtained being of a very practical description. The meeting was carried on conversationally over supper, interest being so maintained that most seemed loath to take their departure.
The chair was occupied by Mrs Blanche, president of the Mapua subbianch of the Plunket Society: and the local secretary moved the hearty vote of thanks offered to Miss Ogden for the greatly appreciated address, and to Nurse Hight for kindly motoring Miss Odgen from Motueka and back for the occasion.
