This Day The following message has been received by the Prime Minister, Mr Savage, from the President of the New York World Fair, Mr Grover A. Whalen, in reply to one of goodwill for the success of the fair sent by Mr Savage: “Please accept my sincere thanks for your cordial message extended through the New Zealand Commissioner. We are grateful for the part which your country is taking in the New York World's Fair, and especially p.s we know that you share our aspirations for progress and will for peace.”
