THE LATE MR L. W. GOODALL
The funeral of the late Mr Leonard William Goodall, which took place at the Riwaka cemetery yesterday afternoon. was largely attended, there being over 50 cars in the cortege. The Rev. P. Kirkham conducted a service at the house and at the graveside. The exhortation of the Oddfellows’ Lodge, M.U. of which the late Mr Goodall was a member, was read by P.D.G.M. Bro. T. O. Chittenden. A striking testimony to the esteem and regard in which deceased was held in the district was the large number of beautiful floral tributes placed on the grave. Included among these were wreaths from St. Barnabas Church Guild. Riwaka Farmers’ Union and Women’s Division, Salvation Army. Riwaka Branch National Party, Riwaka Cricket Club, Tikaokao Football Club and Riwaka Croquet Club. The bearers were: Messrs R. Y w Drummond, K. J. Holyoake. L. Cook, S. E. Barnett. A. G. Goodall and W. R. Bowers.
