Federal departmental experts in a report to the Ministry dealing with the industrial growth of Australia declare that industrial development has reached a point at which goods to the value of £31,000,000 a year which are now being imported could be manufactured in Australia. Of this total £18,000,000 represents goods now imported from Britain and other Empire countries
