This Day The New Zealand railways net revenue for the year ended 31st March will be £700.000, and the gross revenue over £9,000.000. This forecast was made to-day by the General Manager (Mr Mackley) who left on a holiday trip to Waimate and Pembroke. “All indications are that the Minister's anticipations will be realised." said Mr Mackley. “The figures will show a record year of operation."
