NELSON EARLY SETTLERS' ASSOCIATION

NEXT SATURDAY'S EVENT The Nelson Early Settlers’ Association invites the support and co-opera-tion of Nelson citizens in its efforts at Trafalgar Park next Saturday afternoon and evening An attractive and spectacular programme of events has been arranged, with over 700 competitors. The grand parade is timed to leave the Church Steps at 1.30 p.m. for Trafalgar Park. Most of the competitors will be taking part in the parade, together with the three local bands. The programme of events is now in circulation throughout the city and the extensive and varied attractions planned should appeal to all. The proceeds of the event are to assist the Nelson Early Settlers' Association in making preparation for the forthcoming Centenary celebrations, and as the objects have a wide appeal throughout the district a large crowd is expected at the Park on Satyrday.
