Robertson, Dunedin; Mr R. Brown, Wellington; Mr R. Satherley, Blenheim. Present guests at this hotel include Mr C. N. Aikeu, Christchurch; Mr J. H. Young, Wairoa; Mr and Mrs L. 0. Anderson, Parihauhau; Mr and Mrs G. Denham, Parihauhau. ** * * Miss M. Grady, of Melbourne, and Miss O. Brown, Dunedin, who have been staying at the Royal Hotel left this morning for the West Coast. *# * # Present guests at the Masonic Hotel include Mr and Mrs T. D. Cooney, of Christchurch; Mr and Mrs Ward, of Christchurch; and Mr and Mrs Edwards of Christchurch. A party of eight Christchurch persons are staying a week at the hotel. They are Mr and Mrs Raines, Mr and Mrs Connor, Miss Haybyren, Miss E. Tenhalluriack, Mr W. Rogers, and Mr H. C. Langford. ** * * The engagement is announced of Josphine, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Walter Weston, of Stoke, Nelson, to Gregory, second son of Mrs Compton, of Perth, and the late C. H.
