Dear Alice. I am going to write you a letter. To-day the whole family, including my Auntie Bess, who is staying with us. went to the beach. We went round the back, not round the side where the camping ground is. but the other side. We went right to the very end. When we got there I jumped out of the car, and went right to the water's edge. Soon I went in for a paddle. Then I went back to the car to have dinner. After dinner I played with three other little girls. Later on we went home. I am in Standard 111 this year. This little dog is a little rascal; he carries things off but there is one good thing about him, he will bring the cows in for Dad. We have a wireless, and enjoy listening to it very much. One day during Christmas Father took us up to the lake. My brother took his camera and took a snap of a launch when it was sailing. One day when Mother has got time, I will ask her to take a snap of me. my sister and several other children who belong to the Wonderland Club, and send it to you. The other day my eldest brother went fishing and got a great many, he goes just about every night. I love stamp collecting femd I've got about a thousand stamps. Last Saturday we had a fair at Stoke School. The girls did dancing and the boys did drill to amuse the people. Murray got the shock of his life, but when I laughed, he laughed, and thought it was very funny.
