The Coroner, Mr Gilberston, at the inquest J'ound that Alexander James Whitton, aged 23, accountant, took his own life on 2nd April by precipitating himself from the Kelburn viaduct when mentally depressed from insomnia. Insomnia had caused a nervous breakdown and was mainly responsible for the deceased’s state of mental depression.
