OTAGO WINS SHIELD
AT UNIVERSITY TOURNAMENT (United Preen Assignation 1 DUNEDIN, 11th April. The New Zealand Universities’ tournament was brought to a close to-day with the completion of the lawn tennis and the shooting match. Though both these shields went to Victoria by narrow mar, gins, Otago maintained a comfortable lead for the tournament shield and finished with 35J points to Victoria’s 23 points. Tournament gatherings concluded with a ball in the Town Hall to-night, and the northern teams will returns home by the first express to-morrow morning
