THE FUTURE FOR YOUNG MEN.
ITo Tbe Editor! Sir,—l noticed in "The Mail” of the! | • 22nd inst. a request by the New Zea- • I land Freedom Association for broad- ■ J . casting facilities to deliver a series of ; addresses surveying actions of the GovI ernment. This request was refused by ■ the Director of National Broadcasting. . Professor Shelley ’ Now . sir, I would have a very real i | ’ interest in listening to such a series of ill : addresses as I reel in common with 9 . many others of my age that the young | New Zealander is being denied a right g • his father had. and most of the business 1 people had. that is the right to set up ai in business on his own account when it _ . his opinion opportunity was light for such a business. The industrial effic - iency net seems to be closing in so that | most of us will have to be content for | the rest of our lives to work for some 9 ’ one already established in business or | fall back on to the State. | ; Professor Algie states that his asso- j t ciation proposes to hold meetings in i ' each of the tour main centres. I wonder ! if there is an organisation in Nelson | • who could ar range for a meeting to be j t held in Nelson so as to tell us what the : | future holds to satisfy ambition. I am. i I • etc.. ! j J j ZAMBER. { i Nelson. 26th February. 1
