The Lillian began sinking immediate-1 ly. Her crew of 32 took to the life-) boats and all were picked up safely by the Wiegand. CREW TO RETURN TO SHIP (Received 28th February, 9.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, 27th February. A coastguard cutter has reported that she is taking the Lillian’s crew from the Wiegand. leading to the presumption that the captain has decided to return to the vessel which was still: afloat at 7 a.m.
