An emphatic protest is being entered by the Whangarei Master Bakers’ Association against the raised price of flour to bakers in this district At a special meeting it was resolved that the association should enter an emphatic protest against the increase in the price of flour and it was suggested that country bakers should not pay the increases pending a meeting between the country bakers, the wheat committee and the president and secretary of the Auckland Master Eakers’ Association.
