The Scottish Gaelic Society has sent a telegram to Czechoslovakia asking for £1.000.000 of the grant of £10,000,000 made by Britain, for reconstruction after the Sudetenland crisis, the argument being that Britain should not subsidise small nations when the re- . habitation of the distressed areas in the Highlands is refused.
